maXS |
| Universal 4-channel
Production Server |
|
Stop spending on tapes, no longer wait for them to rewind: maXS is a
cost-effective non-linear "plug and play" VTR replacement. Industry standard
audio / video inputs and outputs make it perfectly compatible with your
production infrastructure. maXS also supports most commonly used control
protocols and can thus be driven by your existing edit controller, vision
switcher, graphics engine, station automation?whatever. There is no need to
re-train your operators: they just perform faster.
Compatibility with SportNet does not only
offer real-time networking, but equally opens the door to direct digital
archiving on removable media. Carry your content from studio to studio, almost
as if it was on tape, but perfectly free from generation
loss. |

 |
Editing |
| |
With maXS under control of
your favoured edit controller, access to all material is truly instant. Search
mode is smooth, full quality and with analogue sounding "scrub" audio. |

Clip Juke Box for
entertainment programs |
| |
The archiving
option allows a quick and easy pre-load of sequences on the server. The
switcher, or any traditional VT controller, can then be used to cue and play
clips, instantly. Feed synchronised key and fill material to the graphics /
effects system. |
 |
Live productions /
concerts |
| |
The continuous loop record
mode offers a cost effective solution to cover also the unexpected. maXS
features 4 audio channels per video, also SDI embedded audio is supported. The
integrated 16 x 20 audio router allows the operator to put the audio exactly
where it needs to be. |
 |
Automated
play-out |
| |
The output
channels of maXS can easily be put under control of any station automation
system, in A-B roll mode if required. New content can be ingested and previewed
without disturbing the ongoing broadcast. |
